Our vision
- to revolutionize the understanding of nanoscale fluctuations and non-equilibrium dynamics in aqueous biological solutions, through advanced coherent X-ray scattering methods, interdisciplinary collaboration and impactful dissemination of our research findings,
- to facilitate an inclusive international research environment, where students, postdocs and staff can be creative problem-solvers and life-long learners.

Focus areas
- Nanoscale fluctuations in supercooled aqueous solutions
- Structural dynamics of protein hydration water
- Non-equilibrium biomolecular dynamics in crowded environments
Methodologies
- Experiments at X-ray synchrotrons and Free Electron Lasers (XFELs)
- X-ray Photon Correlation Spectroscopy (XPCS)
- Time-resolved X-ray Scattering (SAXS, WAXS)
- Advanced sample delivery techniques
- Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations and HPC data methods
